The ISTAT Foundation grants programs, administered by the Grants Committee of the Foundation Board of Trustees, offers direct grant funding to non-profit (Section 501 c3 or its equivalent outside the United States) institutions and organizations that utilize the funding for programs which advance commercial aviation and education programs. The institutions receiving these grants use this funding in a number of ways such as developing aviation teaching materials for docents at museums, youth education materials for aviation organizations and other programs that stimulate interest in commercial aviation. These grants are made on an international basis.
The 2010 Grant Committee is comprised of Chris Partridge (Grant Chair), Tom Hiniker, Jim Morris, and Marco Sterk.
