Initiative Goal
The ISTAT Board of Directors launched the Airline Focus Initiative in September 2010. The goal of this initiative is to attract more airlines from around the world to attend ISTAT Conferences and become active members in ISTAT, subsequently this would strengthen the overall position of ISTAT within the aviation community and provide significant value to the membership. The primary target within an airline shall be those individuals directly involved in the following areas: 1) aircraft trading 2) aircraft finance and/or 3) fleet planning.
Initiative Criteria
Each airline participating in this initiative must abide by the following criteria:
- Free Membership - ISTAT shall allow airlines to become members of ISTAT on a complimentary basis for up to 6 corporate members. Each additional membership from the member airline shall pay $200 for annual dues. Those members provided free membership must include at least one individual directly involved in 1) aircraft trading 2) aircraft finance and/or 3) fleet planning.
- Maintaining "Free Membership" - To maintain a "Free" corporate membership, an airline must be represented at ISTAT Americas, Asia and/or Europe in a calendar year by at least one individual directly involved in 1) aircraft trading 2) aircraft financing and/or 3) fleet planning.
