A golfing experience unlike any other, the championship golf courses at Gleneagles Country Club are regarded among the very best golf in the world. The PGA Centenary Course was the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup, where the cream of European and American golf battled it out on Scottish soil for the first time in more than 40 years. Expect to be enchanted by the breathtaking mountain scenery and rich history of the course.

Foursome requests can be submitted to Tia Crowley. The requestor MUST confirm each foursome (or playing partners, no matter how many) with the other players prior to submitting the foursome. Foursome requests are subject to all members of a foursome being registered and the registration remains a first-come, first-serve program. Golfers who do not choose to submit a foursome request will be randomly assigned.

8:30 - 9:30: Tea, Coffee & Bacon Rolls – Shooting Lodge
9:30 - 12:30: Tri Target Shooting – Shooting Lodge
12:30 - 13:30: Three Course Lunch – Birnam Brasserie
13:30: Depart for Edinburgh (arrive no later than 15:00).

Qualified professional instructors will teach you the techniques of Tri Target shooting: three different shooting activities including clay shooting, archery and air rifles.

Bond with your fellow colleagues while you partake in relaxing or competitive Clay Shooting. Instructors will take you from safety to gun mounting, swinging through the target and pulling the trigger. 

Practice and acquire the ancient skill of archery with recurve target bows. Instructors will provide expert tips for novices and skilled archers to help you maintain concentration, poise, technique and determination.

Finally, learn how to use high-powered, precision telescopic-sighted air rifles to knock down reactive targets. Professional instructors provide expert instruction to enable both novices and experienced marksmen to test your aim and concentration.

Cost: £120/person (Inclusive of 20% VAT). 

Support the ISTAT Foundation by participating in a cycling event at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome in Glasgow. The shuttle to the velodrome departs from the Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh at 9:45 and is scheduled to return to the Sheraton Grand in Edinburgh at 15:40. Lunch and jerseys are included as well as the following equipment: bike, helmet and shoes. Please note that a high level of athletic ability is required to participate in the cycling session at the Olympic velodrome.  Tour of Edinburgh Old and New Town

This panoramic walking tour of Edinburgh includes a look at the Old and New Town. In Old Town, take in the medieval architecture of St. Giles' Cathedral before you explore the shopping of the Royal Mile. Walk to New Town and visit Charlotte Square, an attractive city square over 200 years old, and Princes Street Gardens, where you can relax in the tranquil gardens. For lunch, enjoy a meal at Howies Victoria StreetHowies Victoria Street is carved out of rock that Edinburgh Castle perches on above. Paired back stone walls, wooden floors and an eclectic mix of Scottish art marry marvelously with the historic surroundings. The chefs work with the freshest ingredients sourced as close to home as possible and the drinks menu boasts over 20 wines by the glass, a fantastic range of Scottish craft beer and gins from all over Scotland. Finally, embrace the rich history of the Edinburgh Castle as you take in the Royal jewels and the War Memorial Museum. The tour will conclude at 16:00.
