How much industry experience do I need to have to apply?
This program is designed for mid-career women with 10-15+ years of experience and specifically tailored for those with high potential within their respective company.
What are the key components of the program?
- Assessment: Participants will begin by completing a 360-assessment to guide their personal learning and development.
- Individual Coaching: Based on the assessment results, participants will be paired with a certified coach for both individual and group sessions.
- Group Coaching: Coaches will collaborate closely with participants to develop individualized and group coaching plans tailored to their unique needs, career aspirations, and overall development opportunities.
- In-person Collaboration: Participants will attend two, full-day leadership workshops alongside fellow industry professionals and engage in a capstone project, further developing the essential skill needed to become more effective and ultimately transformative industry leaders
- Mentorship, Engagement and Connection: Foster a community of support via dedicated mentoring from fellow women in aviation and encourage relationship building and networking with other women in aviation
How many applicants will be accepted?
The ISTAT Selection Committee will admit 20-25 participants based on strength of application and to assure diversity in terms of professional background, company, nationality, and other factors. The decisions of the Selection Committee will be at their sole discretion.
How much does the program cost?
The participant fee is US$10,000. ISTAT will invest in the development of this program by subsidizing a portion of costs. Travel, accommodation and other expenses for in-person seminars are the responsibility of participants. Program registration does not include ISTAT Americas registration in Phoenix 2-4 March.
Are there separate costs that my registration does not cover?

If I am accepted to the program, can I defer my participation to the next year?
No. Should you be accepted into the program for 2025, it is expected that you will participate January-July 2025.
How long is the program?
The program will kick off in January with an assessment, meet for the first time in March, connect virtually with coaches and mentors on a monthly basis, and complete the program in July.
Will there be "homework"?
Yes, there will be a group capstone project and other activities that are expected of participants in between session meetings.
